Good morning/Good afternoon/Good evening my friends, wherever you are! This
is 9:30am. 2nd December, Sunday in India .How are you friends? I’m very fine
and happy; because the winter has fallen across India and it is my favourit season!
I will tell you about the winter in India in next days.
Friends, yesterday was a important day for us and our society. I want to share some words about it.
Yesterday was the World AIDS Day. It is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. Government and health officials observe the day, often with speeches or forums on the AIDS topics. Since 1995, the President of the United States has made an official proclamation on World AIDS Day. Governments of other nations have followed suit and issued similar announcements.

The aim of the World AIDS Day is to
bring people’s attention to the worldwide challenges and consequences of the
epidemic in order to create change. World Aids Day was initiated following a
summit of Health Ministers in London (1988). In the meeting, the leaders
realized that a united global effort was required to check the spread of HIV
and AIDS.
The World AIDS Day provides
governments, national AIDS programs, welfare organizations, community
organizations and individuals an opportunity to focus on the global AIDS
epidemic.
Each year a theme is chosen to highlight different aspects of the problem and ways in which different groups of people are affected by HIV. The 2012 theme for World AIDS Day is "Working Together for an AIDS-Free Generation".
