Good morning/Good afternoon/Good evening my friends, wherever you are! This is 10:30am.  12th Sept. Wednesday here in India and I am here for you with ‘Glimpses of India....’.
Friends, today I’m going to tell you a story of a cancer survivor, Yuvraj Singh, the prince of Indian cricket. Yesterday he played his first match after recovering from cancer. In a week from now, he will be playing the T20 World Cup 2012 in Sri Lanka. He received the Player of the Tournament award for the ODI World Cup 2011. It was not known at that time that he was suffering from a cancerous tumor in his left lung. Then followed months of chemotherapy at the Cancer Research Institute at Boston and the Medical Facilities hospital in Indianapolis. He returned home in April and has been working on improving his physical fitness so that he could play for India again. The second coming of Yuvraj Singh could be even more inspiring than his first foray.  His mother Shabnam who has inspired her son to face not just the fastest bowlers in the world but one of the most dangerous of all maladies.
Yuvraj Singh is an example that if you want to do something, you can. He is now an ideal for those who are suffering from cancer. Friends, please pray for long life of Yuvraj and of course for his career.  Namaskar.

Yuvraj Singh
